Ichigo's Idiotic Thoughts

It was my first day of tutor.

Yes,

tutortutortutortutor. [doesnt it look like 'torture'? (=w=)?]

But it really is summer school...

But i only had that class for a hour and a half,

so i didnt mind.

Plus it was Algebra 2,

and math is pretty easy to me.

When i came to the tutor place,

everything changed the last time i came,

which was in 2008.

They have a more complex,

and i guess a more professional name?

A+ [something] Institute.

At least they changed the name....

Cuz in my past years,

the name was A- Tutoring Center....

I still find that hilarious...

[cough]

There were tons of people as usual,

but most of them were little kids.

There were barely any people around the same age as me or higher.

But there was a shocker in the crowd.

I saw Andrew Nguyen,

the 'gay' one,

the LQ president of class 2013,

right in front of my face.

We were both surprised and we talked.

I guess you can call this our reunion...

Wait...

That means i have to deal with this guy all summer.....

Well i wasnt only shocked that he was there,

i was shocked that someone from LQ would be here.

Yet again,

there are many other people in the crowd who came from farther places...

ex: Florida, LA, etc....

But LQ was my big shocker.

I guess ill let you guys guess why....

Moving on...!

I finally got into my class.

Ah,

the memories.

Most of the classes were very small...

Like about the size as my brothers room...

Andrew sat next to me as usual,

because he's the clinging type...

Okay he doesnt literally cling on me,

he's just a dependent person.

Another shocker was that there were only 5 people in my class [including me].

It feels so weird..

But i like it.

There were lots of room and lots of air for me to survive and feel comfortable.

There was another guy who came from LQ,

one from westminster,

and one from the same school as me,

Xuyen.

I dont really like her...

Because of her atmosphere and i guess her attitude...?

[shrugs]

Our lessons was pretty much review.

The corrdinate plane and etc.

We had a lot of problems...

But it was fairly easy,

however...

I didnt even a quarter of my hw...

Why?

Andrew.

He kept asking me tons of questions....

and tons of help...

Like i was his own personal tutor..

I dont get paid enough for this...

It's going to be a long summer.....

I came back to the A+ [blah] Institute to attend my Chemistry class.

It is freaking 3 hours.... OTZ

Again,

Andrew was there and he sat next to me again...

However,

the school was really empty.... (o-o)..

The only class in session was the chemistry class,

which is either class 5 or 3... ("=w=)...

There was more people in the class i guess,

by 1..?

There was the same guy from LQ from my previous class,

a different guy from westminster,

another person from LQ that i know but dont really talk too...,

a girl who is came from Florida who is spending her vacation in this school....,

Andrew,

and me.

The lesson was pretty okay i guess...

The teacher was pretty shy..

And not really good at explaining..

So when we have to do problems..

It took me a while to get it.... (=A=)

Must review...

The class was very unsocial...

When we had to do group discussions,

only Andrew and I were the ones talking...

Sad...

I guess I can understand why people believe chemistry is hard...

But i think it's challenging but okay because we dont have the usual basic problems,

we have more complex problems,

since we are older...

And it also involves with more common sense...

When i came home,

Yawnnhi reminded me to come ova to her house in order to prep for AX which was the next day,

so i came over with my chem hw and we had a little study session.

She was doing SAT prep stuff [good for her (TwT)],

while i had freaking chem hw that took me a long time.....

I even had dinner ova there,

Fish and rice.

It was good,

but i was eating quite slowly...

1: because of cautiousness of bones

and 2: because i was watching Kaichou wa Maid-sama.

I cant multi task... [sniff]

The funny thing was that Thaitea and Da wind were eating the same thing.

Hilarious. (=w=)

After dinner,

we finally started preparing the whole AX events and gatherings we should attend.

And we were planning to go to many events and gatherings too... (o-o)a..

Then Yawnnhi and I were watching the Otaku Debate on Youtube.

I thought we were gonna discuss like how the story of one manga is good or bad,

pairings,

the drawings,

the coloring,

deep into detail stuff,

etc...

Yea..

I was wrong.

It was basically like jeopardy,

with otaku ?S of course.

One that literally pissed me off...

Was this Question:

That is so easy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet nobody got that answer...

It had cardcaptor sakura,

chobits,

CLAMP school detectives,

Clover,

xxxHolic,

a bit of Kobato but i think it wont count since kobato came after Tsubasa...,

I could go on,

but i should stop my anger.

[smacks self]

We were mostly playing though,

and it was awfully hot at her house...

Her house was the longest I have ever stayed at any of my friends house:

around 9 o' clock... (o-o)..

That day,

I had one of the weirdest dreams again.

Yes it involves with JBF again..

I was somehow at a party.

There were many people there,

but I didnt know any of them.

But then he suddenly came out of nowhere and said 'Hi Brenda' to me.

It surprised me a bit.

The weird part was right after i asked him why are you here.

"I only came for you".

(o-o)...

I was shocked,

[in my mind of course].

Because he still had a serious face upon his face,

meaning he acutally meant it...

(o-o)...

And that's it of my dream.

That day was also Day 0 of Anime Expo!! \(=w=)/

I was pretty excited!

I have always wanted to attend Anime Expo!

[and this was the part when aniki was teasing me again when i was typing this....

saying:

To see all of the artists at the artist alley,

to see interesting cosplays,

and to participate in many events.

Even Thaitea's cousin came too.

The rest of the Triple Baka plus one were cosplaying as vocaloids,

Yawnnhi as Akaito,

Thaitea as Luka,

and Da wind as Miku.

I was just me,

but i didnt mind.

At least i saved money! (=w=)v

It took only an hour to get to the LA convention center.

We were a bit lost where the parking lot was... (=w=)...

The rest of the Triple Baka found the South Hall parking lot..

But 'One' was too busy telling her mom the directions that she didnt hear us...

So we wasted some precious gas....

We finally got into the parking lot,

but there was a requirement...

We had to pay $12 in order to get in...

So expensive...!!

We were all worrying if Thaitea's cousin had money or not.

But in the end he did.

Plus its common sense to bring ur wallet when you are driving,

because thats why you hold ur license,

and you need a license to drive.

So yea.

When we arrived there,

it was huge!! (O_O)

Yawnnhi was literally right when she said that the convention center was like about 10 GGHSs.

The Agony..!!!

Well,

I was able to meet some new friends through Da wind and Thaitea.

It was Shannon and Arianne. [Not sure if i spelled the names right...]

Shannon was dressed as Hibari from KHR,

and Arianne was dressed as Mukuro from KHR.

Arianne even had his staff!

She allowed me to hold it,

boy did i felt powerful...

But yet again,

I'm possessed at the same time.....

When i first met them,

I befriended with Arianne first.

But somehow i thought she was Shannon...

Eh...

They are both cool people and are very talented!

They even model like a pro!!

The triple baka + one even made a mini contest for all of us.

We had a contest on who has the most pics from fans and most fan service from fans.

At least we finally moved!

When we finally went to the ticket area to scan our tickets,

I had a problem with my ticket....

I think Yawnnhi dragged me with her jinx... (=w=)...

Apparently,

Yawnnhi's ticket got messed up again...

She had Karla's name,

our friend from gghs,

not her name when she scanned her barcode.

Well for me,

I wasnt even in the registration... ("=w=)...

I felt left out in the list..

(TwT)..

[sniff..]

So Yawnnhi and I had to get help from the helpers,

but something weird happened...

Somehow,

the laday asked Yawnnhi for her mother,

so she had to go and yell for her mother to come to the booth,

while the laday gave yawnnhis stuff to her partner and did mine.

She checked my ID,

but didnt ask for any parent...

(o-o)...

Even my birthday was on my ID.....

weird...

Unfortunately,

out of the triple baka + one,

only Yawnnhi was asked for a parent...

And only Yawnnhi and i had our tickets messed up...

Well thats okay,

as long as they didnt lose my information and etc...

and we were tricked...

and i believe that was the day we went to ross to buy cardigins and my guy shirt.

on that night,

my mom gave me about $70 from grades..

4.0 again...

Day 1 of Anime Expo finally came!

The real fun begins!! Q(=w=)

I brought my tsubasa reservoir chronicle messenger backpack that Yawnnhi gave me,

and brought tons of snacks,

my phone,

itouch,

and the schedule and the book of maps and events.

Later on,

I had to hold mostly everybodys electronics,

so it was kind of heavy....

("=w=).. [huff huff..]

My dad was the one who took us on that day,

and he dropped us off at this underway with another long line.

But this line wasnt as long as yesturday.

It turned out that line was for Exhibit Hall,

where the shops and the artist alley is held.

The Hall is only open at a specific time and closes at a specific time throughout AX.

So we stayed in line.

Yawnnhi and I went inside to buy some coffee,

and again,

it was humungo..!!

("O_O)!

It was crowded too,

tons of people were there.

And most of the people were cosplaying.

It was like i have entered into a parallel universe!

Or a different world.

This was my first time to be in such a active,

carefree atmosphere,

and my first time drinking coffee!!

We got a Mocha Cappuccino.

I didn't know what it is...

but it sounded fancy and olderly like!

I get to feel like im older!!!

The taste was yummy too!

I loved the choco taste~

Apparently,

i only got a sip,

because we only got one small mocha cappuccino for the four of us,

and i got hyper...

Ahahhahaha...

Imagine drinking the whole thing...

We were also playing 13 when we came back,

the scary part was whenever i split the deck,

I mostly get '3' and 'J'....

(=w=)...

moving on.

Yawnnhi also gave each of us an individual tour around AX while we are still waiting.

Finally after waiting,

we finally got in the Exhibit Hall!

It was even bigger than i imagined!!

(O_O)!!

It had so many isles...

[wheezes...]

but it was interesting!

However most of the stuff were expensive...

(=w=)...

I bought a All about CLAMP book that is in full Jap.....

two keychains of Sakura from CCS and Kobato from Kobato from a fan artist!

A Syaoran and Sakura fan art!

A bell!

and a tsubasa and xxxHolic movie!! \(=w=)/

But after i bought all of those,

I thought...

What was the point of buying all of these...

It's only a temporary use....

And its not really useful...

Well useful to my temptations...

but thats it...

All I'm gonna do is stare at them....

And probably identify some drawing tips.....

i ended up using about $60.

We also attended many events,

but the one event that I will always remember was the Otaku debate.

Yawnnhi was one of the contestants,

but apparently she is suppose to be at least 18 years or older to attend...

[cough...]

Most of the questions were based on mostly shonen mangas and classic ones.

I even knew some of the questions myself surprisingly...

But Yawnnhi was a bit stumped..

("=w=)...

I was kind of tearing up when someone from the audience was able to answer the question and got something CLAMP related..!

ESPECIALLY TSUBASA STUFF!!!

(TAT)!!!

I shouldve answered!!!

[sobs]

In the end,

the results were that Yawnnhi was able to reach to 3rd place [Pbfft...],

with 13 points [PBFFT..] [i think it was 13 points.... but still, PBBFTF..]

Thanks to the last question that was 5 points [pbfft...].

She was able to get a t-shirt,

a cat hat [which now belongs to me],

a manga [that belongs to da wind now]

and other stuff i forgot....

The MC was funny though!

Oh yea!

The gatherings!

I was a bit sad,

we didnt go to most of the gatherings we were planning to go.

Because most of them changed locations at the last minute...

sigh..

At least i had fun!

We had subway when we got home.~

It was Day 2 of AX!

And i was dressed as 'Kevin'/Mikado from Durarara!!/ Yamamoto from KHR....

They didnt want me to feel left out in the pictures,

so they put me as a guy.

I didnt mind,

it was just the wig...

it kept slipping off due to my flat head....

So When i tried to play DDR,

i failed due to the wig...

Blast you wig...

Yawnnhis mom thought i looked good in the wig and with no make up....

as a girl,

Wells,

we continued shopping and attending events.

We didnt wait in line anymore for the Exhibit Hall,

because we all agreed it wasnt necessary.

So we attended a Scavenger Hunt event.

And guess wat?

We had the same MC....

And when he told all the cosplayers to stand up,

[i stand up too...]

The first person he picked on was me..

("=w=)..

He said he couldnt tell if i was a guy or a girl...

but he made me go up....

So i did..

And everybody told him that i am a girl...

And he was surprised and said i didnt had any girly features...

Sigh...

oh wells..

I am a tomboy...

We made new friends with 'Ash' and 'Celty' and their crew.

We lost the game though....

It was freaking hard to find a AX pin from 2007 and a license with 'INTIALD' on it...!!

(=x=)!!!

But we made new friends and had fun.

Plus it was my first time,

so i wanted to try.

Then we did some more shopping.

This time,

I was careful of what to buy.

I bought a commision from a fanartist.

I asked her to draw Mitsuhi and me.

And it turned out pretty nice.

The ratings were:

She had cool watercoloring skills though!

I also 'bought' yawnnhis present of something with K-ON!...

I forgot which because she had a lot...

and I gave her my money for her to buy it.

So yea.

At least that's cleared,

just her second part..

and i forgot what Thaitea got..

I remembered we also attended a J-rock event.

Where they talk all about J-rock.

It was...

different...

interesting...

Lots of headbanging...

After that i ended up carrying loads of stuff..

Now i know how it feels to be the 'man' in a 'date' with shopaholics...

PAIN!!

My spine was also hurting too...

ouch...

But its all okay now~

We attended this vocaloid of the future panel,

and it was awesome.

What made it even more awesome was they played Just Be Friends MV!!!

That made my day,

or night...

I kind of cried a bit,

because it reminded me of the bad self of me....

Other than that,

i learned another song that was interesting.

And it was about them getting married.
